Trabzon, 3 December 2025 – The Department of Marine Sciences and Technology Engineering at Karadeniz Technical University held its 2025 external stakeholder meeting. During the meeting, the department's promotional activities were presented, and opportunities for cooperation between public institutions and the university were discussed.

Representatives from the Provincial Directorate of Environment, Urban Planning and Climate Change, Trabzon Provincial Directorate of Agriculture and Forestry, Ministry of Transport and Infrastructure 11th Regional Directorate, Ortahisar Municipality, and other institutions attended the meeting, where Trabzon's environmental and coastal management issues were addressed. Participants shared their proposed solutions to existing problems and evaluated opportunities for joint project development.
