Oral Presentation Guideline

  • Oral presentations may be delivered by the presenting author in either English or Turkish.

  • All presentations will be delivered in the order specified in the congress program. Information regarding your session schedule will be communicated to you in advance.

  • Presentations not delivered during the congress will not be included in the abstract book.

  • A digital copy of the presentation file must be checked and submitted to the technical staff before the start of the session.

  • The total presentation time is 7 minutes: 5 minutes for presentation and 2 minutes for discussion.

  • For Master’s and PhD thesis presentations, the total time is 10 minutes: 7 minutes for presentation and 3 minutes for discussion.

  • The first slide of the presentation must include the names of all authors. The name of the presenting author should be underlined.

  • The presentation slides should include the following sections:

    • Introduction and Background (2 slides)

    • Objective (1 slide)

    • Materials and Methods (3 slides)

    • Results

    • Conclusion (1 slide)

    • References (1 slide — only key references should be included)

  • A total of 12 to 20 slides is recommended, and each slide should be numbered.

  • Since questions and discussions will be held at the end of the session, presenters are kindly requested to remain in the hall until the session concludes.
