On that day, our glorious army, despite all odds, wrote a heroic saga in history with its determination and struggle." Continuing his remarks by recounting the epic stories of heroes of the Çanakkale Victory such as Seyit Onbaşı and Kınalı Hasan, our Rector drew attention to the perseverance, courage, and patriotism demonstrated during the war. He concluded his speech by reciting Mehmet Akif's poem "To the Çanakkale Martyrs."
